Mediation is a process that puts you in control of the outcome.  Unlike when a case goes to trial and the judge and/or jury have the final say, mediation gives parties the opportunity to control the outcome of their case.  

Mediation offers people the chance to settle their dispute more quickly than going through litigation and is typically much less expensive than going through litigation.

Communications made during mediation are private and confidential under Ohio law.  As such, mediation also offers a safe space to learn about the other side's perspective.
